Terms & Conditions of use

Revisions

A fixed fee project entitles you to one major set of amends and one further set of amends within 30 days of receipt of the initial draft.

Should any further revisions be required, an applicable hourly fee, and fractions thereof, will apply.  Such amends will be completed to a deadline agreed by both parties.

Fundamental client changes and additions to the brief will require a re-estimation of the project cost and may incur an increased fee.

Should you cancel the project, or put it on hold for any reason, you will be invoiced for all work completed to date.

Format

Copy will be supplied as a Microsoft Word or Adobe PDF document by email or disc, whichever you prefer.  

Invoicing

An invoice will be sent to you within one week of your receipt of the initial draft.  Please ensure that payment is made no later than 30 days from the date of that invoice.

If the total estimated cost of the project is over £1500.00 then 33% is payable in advance.  An invoice will be sent to you on the receipt of your signed contract.  The remaining amount will be invoiced as above.

If the project is likely to take over one month to complete then individual items may be invoiced as they are completed.

If amends are not received within 30 days of the initial draft, or if insufficient material is received to enable completion of the project, then an invoice will be issued for work completed to date.

Work requested at short notice (less than 24 hours turnaround) or over the weekend or Bank Holidays may be charged at a higher rate (+ 50% of hourly/daily rate).

Should an invoice not be paid, Switchedon Creative reserves the right to charge interest at 5% per month calculated on a daily basis.  The accrued interest will then be added to any outstanding claim along with a £4 debt recovery charge.

Errors and omissions

While I make every effort to ensure that copy is free of errors and omissions, no copywriter can truly guarantee this.  Therefore it is essential that you review the copy before committing any project to production.

Copyright

The copyright for any copy or concept developed will be automatically passed across to you after full payment of the applicable invoice.

Indemnity

You shall hold me harmless against liability anywhere in the world, including liability arising from accidental copyright infringement and libel that results in any way from your use of my copywriting services and counsel on this project.  I agree to work with your legal advisor to ensure that any copy complies with applicable laws and regulations.

Governing Law

Switchedon Creative and all of these these terms and conditions are governed by English Law.
